Welcome to the support section for the IB resources that Triple A Learning offer for the IB Diploma Programme. The resource packs are sold as downloadable files through our website. The files can only be downloaded once the pack has been fully paid for, so if you have opted to pay by invoice, the pack can only be downloaded once the invoice has been paid. You will be notified that your download is available once payment has been received. If you need the file straight away then the best bet will be to pay by credit card.
If you have a query that is not answered below, then you may like to contact us on info@triplealearning.com. The answers to various support questions are given below, but contact us on info@triplealearning.com if you have any further queries.
How do I install a Triple A Learning BACCpack?
- Create a folder somewhere appropriate on your school network or on an individual computer.
- Download the file and save it in the folder you created.
- Unzip the file in the folder you have created. You can usually do this by simply ‘right-clicking‘ on the file (for Windows users) and choosing ‘Extract here‘
- In the folder, you will see a file called story.html. Double click this file and the pack will open in your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari etc). The pack should open and then works as a self-contained website.
VLE content formats
- SCORM format – we can provide notes and questions as either one single SCO or as multiple SCOs
- HTML format – we can provide notes as HTML format for upload into any VLE; the notes can be with provided with or without a table of contents
Please contact us for sample versions of these content formats to try in your Virtual Learning Environment. We are happy to provide multiple samples for you to experiment and find the best solution for your VLE.

- Fill in an appropriate ‘Title’ and ‘Description’ and then click the ‘Choose or upload a file button’
- Click the ‘Make a folder button’ in the popup window that appears and create an appropriate folder.
- Click on the name of the folder you have just created and then click the ‘Upload a file’ button

- Once it has uploaded select ‘Unzip’ to unzip the file into this folder and then click ‘OK’.
- Click ‘Choose’ beside the file called index.htm
- Select whether to open the page in a new web window or the same web window and then scroll down and click ‘Save and display’ to view the pack as it will be seen in Moodle.
Moodle 2.0+
- Log into Moodle and navigate to the appropriate course
- Click the ‘Turn editing on’ button top right on the screen – you will need these ‘teacher’ rights to be able to add a resource pack to a Moodle course
- Click the ‘Add an activity or resource’ link under the topic where you wish to add the pack
- Click the ‘File’ radio button under the ‘Resources’ heading.
- Fill in an appropriate ‘Name’ and ‘Description’
- Under the content heading, use the file picker to upload the zip file we have provided. You may prefer to create a folder to upload the zip file into.
- Once the file has uploaded, click on the small icon (or click or right-click on the file itself depending on which version of Moodle you have) and choose the ‘Unzip’ option.
- Once all the files have unzipped, you can, if you choose to, delete the zip file as it is no longer required.
- Click on the small icon (or click or right-click on the file) beside the file called index.htm or player.htm and select the option to ‘Set main file’. This will set Moodle to start this file first when this link is clicked.
- Under the ‘Appearance’ heading, choose to open the file in ‘a pop-up’ as this will make it easier to read.
- Click ‘Save’.
